General Meeting, Paris (Ecole des Mines), 30-31 October 2012

photo report

The first MECANO general meeting will take place on October 30-31, 2012 in Paris at Ecole des Mines (60 Boulevard Saint Michel).
GDRI MECANO is an international network, funded by CNRS, and focused on the mechanical properties of nano-objects.

For this kickoff meeting, the scientific committee has chosen a scientific program structured around five oral sessions and one poster session:

session I     Mechanical Testing
session II    In situ mechanical testing on beam lines
session III   Nanoprocessing
session IV   Fracture at nanoscale
session V    Calculation of diffraction patterns from models

The quality of the speakers will make this meeting a very exciting one indeed.
We look forward to meet you at the first MECANO meeting!

Please note that funding is available for PhD students and for postdocs (see registration page).

Coordinator : Olivier Thomas (IM2NP, Aix-Marseille University)
