Scope
NANO SEA 2006 will primarily focus on the following topics that are of strong current interest in fields of nanostructures self-assembling and nanostructured substrate :
- Semiconductor, metallic, organic and biological nanostructures
- Electronic, magnetic, optical and transport properties
- Self-assembling techniques
- Modelling of self-organisation and pattern formation
- Nanotubes
- Quantum dots, quantum wires and their properties
- Techniques of nanofabrication and nanopatterning
- Substrates nanostructured
- Atomic structure and morphology, surface and interface phenomena
- Novel device applications: nanodevice fabrication technology, characterization, properties and modelling
- Other applications in medicine, environment …
- Novel properties of nanoscale systems: electronic structure and modelling
A joint SINANO Workshop on "Epitaxy for Si nanoelectronics" will be held on 6-7 July 2006.
