Postdoc position : durée 12 mois, à pourvoir immédiatement

L'équipe RFID capteurs travaille sur les technologies de communication sans fil. Une des applications possibles est la conception de solutions innovantes pour le monde du sport amateur. Dans ce contexte l'équipe est à la recherche d'un post-doctorant ou d'un ingénieur pour travailler au développement de prototype.

Description de la mission : Nous recherchons un/une post-doc ou Ingénieur(e) électronique analogique et numérique, afin de rejoindre notre équipe. En collaboration avec l'équipe, vous participerez à la conception électronique de notre système embarqué tels que :

  • Sur la base des spécifications du projet, vous réalisez différentes étapes de conception (schémas, simulations, routages, tests, démarrages…)
  • Etat de l'art et rédaction du cahier des charges.
  • Conception de systèmes électroniques analogiques ET numériques.
  • Sélection de composants et routage de circuits électroniques selon le cahier des charges.
  • Lancement et encadrement de travaux de sous-traitances.
  • Prototypage, test et optimisation de circuit électronique (soudure, test, etc)
  • Vous serez en charge de la veille technologique dans le domaine.

Profil:  

  • H/F de formation BAC + 5 minimum en électronique (Post-doctorat, école d'ingénieur).
  • Vous disposez a minima d'une première expérience significative dans la conception de cartes électroniques.
  • Autonome dans la conception de A à Z de systèmes électroniques.
  • Maîtrise du langage de programmation des systèmes embarqués (C…).
  • Programmation en langage C-C++ sur environnement Code Composer Studio (TI).
  • Connaissances de base en BLE - Bluetooth Low Energy.
  • Vous maîtrisez un outil de conception de carte électronique (Eagle de préférence).

Postdoc position (2 years)


The NSE research group of the IM2NP institute of Marseilles seek 1 post-doctoral scholar for a research fellowships for 2 years. The fellowship is open to scholars who have obtained their doctorate degree less than 2 years before the application.

Description : The post-doc will work on the PRCI "ULYSSES" project (Quantum and classical light emitters in silicon: Impurities and complex defects for nanophotonics). The tasks the post-doc will address mainly concern: fabrication via molecular beam epitaxy of Si and SiGe nanostructures, high temperature annealing, fabrication of photonic resonators via etching (focused ion beam, optical lithography), SiO2/Si3N4 thin-film deposition via chemical vapor deposition. The characterization tools include: scanning and transmission electron microscopy, ellipsometry, atomic force microscopy, optical microscopy and spectroscopy.

As the Ulysses project is a collaboration between France (Marseilles, Montpelier) and Germany (Leipzig), the candidate is expected to spend some period in these groups for scientific collaboration within the ULYSSES project.

Financial support The salary is 2400 Euros/month after taxes.

Postdoc position (24 months)

Evaluation of strain and structure in chalcogenide phase change materials at ultimate dimensions: synchrotron X-ray scattering, curvature and resistance measurements

Description A post-doc position is available for a research subject on the evaluation of the influence of confinement and strain in phase change materials (PCMs) in IM2NP (CNRS – AMU) Marseille, France.

Background Phase Change Random Access Memories (PCRAM) are based on the reversible amorphous-crystalline transition in phase change materials (PCMs). One key advantage of PCRAM is its scalability but, for ultimate miniaturization, a fundamental understanding of the interplay between strain and interface energies at the nanoscale is mandatory to achieve optimal efficiency.

To address this issue, an ANR funded project (SESAME: http://www.im2np.fr/projets/SESAME) being coordinated by IM2NP (partners: IM2NP, CEA-INAC, CEA-LETI, CINaM, Synchrotron Soleil) develops a joint research program where advanced in situ characterization techniques are applied to ultra-thin layers, confined nanostructures and nanoclusters in order to investigate the early stages of phase transition and also to measure local strains and microstructure changes upon crystallization. In this context, we offer a two years post-doctoral fellowship dedicated to X-ray synchrotron scattering experiments and data evaluation therefrom as well as in situ curvature measurements during annealing.

Research Objectives This project will involve the study of both structure and stress in as-deposited and annealed PCMs nanostructures and 2D films using synchrotron X-ray scattering (diffraction in the crystalline phase, PDF in the amorphous phase, reflectivity …), curvature and sheet resistance measurements. IM2NP has a strong experience in strain evaluation in nanostructures and a very good record for obtaining beamtime at synchrotron radiation facilities. The candidate will benefit from unique in situ experiments that allow combining either X-ray diffraction with X-ray reflectivity and electrical resistance measurements or Xray diffraction with substrate curvature measurements. In addition Finite Element Modelling will be used for a complete understanding of stress and stored elastic energy in the confined PCMs.

Candidate profile and application The candidate for this position should hold a relevant PhD degree in chemistry, physics or materials science. Practice in experiments at synchrotron beamline, data processing or optical curvature and strain measurements will be appreciated. Position : CDD researcher for one year, from September 2015 to August 2016 (12 months)

La Société d’Accélération du Transfert de Technologies Sud Est (SATT Sud Est) is looking for : Engineer or researcher in Laser process and optics (H/F)

Localisation : Laboratory IM2NP (INSTITUT MATERIAUX MICROELECTRONIQUE NANOSCIENCES DE PROVENCE) , Campus de Saint jérôme, 52 Avenue Escadrille Normandie Niemen, 13013 Marseille, France

Context : SATT is the transfer technology structure for Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) for PACA and Corsica regions (hereinafter jointly referred to the "ESTABLISHMENTS"). Its purpose is to transfer research results from the laboratories of its shareholders to the industry.

The position is proposed in the frame of a project of technological maturation of an innovation recently patented in collaboration with Laboratory IM2NP. This laboratory has developed a new concept of photodetectors for Near-infrared and visible photon detection.

Title of the position : ENGINEER OR RESEARCHER IN LASER PROCESS AND OPTICS.

Expertise : Engineer (1-3 years of expertise) or Doctor in Physics

Situation : The work to be done is based on strong collaboration between the researchers that proposed the innovation and the engineers and technician of the project team. The selected candidate will be involved first in the realisation of the prototype, and then in the optimization of this new printing prototype.

Main objective : Final objective: Demonstrate that the concept proposed in the patent is appropriated to meet the challenges of the image sensors industry (reliability, performances, cost and throughput)

The purpose is to build and characterize a demonstrator capable of detecting light with an "intrinsic" spectral selectivity. This prototype will be used to define the performance and limitations of these new light sensors in terms of quantum efficiency (QE, incident photon to converted electron, IPCE ratio). Then, based on this prototype, the optimization of the different parameters controlling the charge transfer will be performed. Demonstration will be done through the manufacturing of few pixels (~3).. The key parameters to investigate for the validation of the process will be: ease of fabrication/validation of the best fabrication process, quantum efficiency of the photodetectors, effective spectral range exploitable for the photodetection.

Competences : - We are looking for an engineer or a scientist with strong experimental skills in optics and microelectronics. - Beyond these expertises in microelectronics and Photonics, competences in material characterization and GIS/FIB will be appreciated. - Personnel skills: Ability to work in a team for project management, the organization of the work and the interpretation of the results; well-organized; interpersonal skills.

Salary : Depending on the expertise of the applicant: between 1800 à 2000 € monthly (net) + lunches during the working days
