Aziza received both his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees with honors from Aix-Marseille University (AMU), Marseille, France. He is currently a senior associate professor and the head of the Memory Team (MEM) within the IM2NP research unit, a cross-faculty research entity at AMU. Aziza holds 6 patents, and has co-authored over 160 conference and journal papers. He has collaborated with numerous industry and research partners, including ST-Microelectronics, CEA-Leti, Cairdac, TUDelft, Thales Silicon Security, the American University of Beirut, and the Lebanese International University (LIU), among others. His work has had significant industrial impact, with much of his research conducted in the frame of industry-oriented doctoral theses (CIFRE PhDs) at the intersection of the industrial and academic worlds (8 graduated PhDs out of 10). Aziza is actively involved in the international community as a member of organizing committees (e.g., general chair, program chair, panel chair, etc.) or a member of the technical program committees of leading conferences in microelectronics.
