Forte de ses acquis fondamentaux en élaboration et nanofabrication de matériaux semiconducteurs pour des applications optoélectroniques, l’équipe s’est enrichie d’une nouvelle thématique en auto-organisation de matériaux 2D (moléculaires et inorganiques). Grâce à la complémentarité et à la synergie des deux approches basées entre autres sur des procédés combinés d’épitaxie et de nanogravure, des nanomatériaux à l’état de l’art peuvent être créés et caractérisés. La stratégie scientifique de l’équipe s’appuie sur une plateforme de nanotechnologie rassemblant des grands équipements d’élaboration (2 MBE, 1 CVD), d’analyse de surface (STM, XPS, Auger, AFM), de nanostructuration (2 FIB) et de nanocaractérisation ex situ (spectroscopie optique, SEM,etc). La complémentarité des acquis et compétences des membres de l’équipe permet de créer une synergie forte et efficace, source de dynamisme.
